Falls Weekly Expected Harvest List

 
     
 

The following is the expected weekly harvest list.  The seeds will be the same as the seeds described in the 2008 26 week harvest list posted on our web page.   Weather permitting we are hoping for the first week of harvest to begin August 18.  Let us also hope that the weather holds out this fall because the spring’s weather sure was a challenge. Only a limited amount of plants where started for the fall so do not miss out.

 
     
 

Week 1 - August 18

  1. Mixed Salad greens
  2. Zucchini- one
  3. Pole Beans – Enough for two adult diner portion
 
 

Week 2 – August 26

  1. Mixed Salad greens
  2. Zucchini- one
  3. Pole Beans – Enough for two adult diner portion
 
 
 

Week 3 - September 2

  1. Mixed Salad greens – enough for 4 adult salads
  2. Radishes – bunch of six
  3. Sweet Peas – enough for 4 adult portions
  4. Swiss Chard -  2 adult portions cooked or add to salad mix
  5. Spinach – 2 large adult spinach salads
  6. Pole Beans – Enough for two adult diner portion
 
 
 

Week 4 - September 9

  1. Mixed Salad greens – enough for 4 adult salads
  2. Radishes – bunch of six
  3. Sweet Peas – enough for 4 adult portions
  4. Swiss Chard -  2 adult portions cooked or add to salad mix
  5. Spinach – 2 large adult spinach salads
 
 

Week 5 - September 16

  1. Mixed Salad greens – enough for 4 adult salads
